Hi Steven, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The lollipop turnings of the arm supports reference the pieces made by Hunzinger but he did not do any chairs with such vigorously spiral turned elements. If you'd like for your appraisal to include dimensions, which is customary, please forward in the comments section - at your convenience - the height, width and length of the platform and I'll update this ASAP. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage late Victorian style turned and upholstered oak platform rocker American, late 19th/early 20th Century The rounded upholstered crest with brass tack trim over a rectangular back with brass tack trim, flanked by twist-turned stiles, serpentine over-upholstered arms supported on lollipop-turned spindles, trapezoidal seat over-the-rail upholstered raised on a twist-carved platform base. (DIMENSIONS) CONDITION: reupholstered; appears to be in good condition PROVENANCE: inherited $150-250* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary. Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
