Hello Jose, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, knot density and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Knotted Indian or Pakistane Contemporary Oriental Rug. The piece dates back to the period from 1970 to 1990. The piece is classically decorated with scaled Persian style flowers with a very heavy overall decoration. The colours of the piece are quite matte, likely designed to fit in a modern interior. The piece centrally decorated with a central medallion shaped as reflected "Ram Horns". The piece's knot density is average and hence the motifs were rendered somewhat muddy. The piece's central area was decorated on a maroon base while the borders were decorated on a beige tone. The piece is knotted wool on cotton. The piece is entirely florally decorated. The piece is in good condition with small signes of use and age. Entirely hand knotted. Dimensions: 6 Feet by 11 Feet Condition: The piece is in good condition with small signes of use and age. Provenance: Inherited from the current owner's grandmother. Heavily decorated by contemporary scale Persian Floral patterns. 300-600$. Please don’t hesitate to reach us again for more online appraisals on your precious items, thank you for choosing Mearto.
