A vintage Persian Kashan hand-loomed silk carpet
Made in Kashan, Iran, late 20th Century
The primary oval red field with lush foliate decoration centering an elongated medallion, within blue spandrels (corners) and a blue border with calligraphic cartouche panels at each end, cream selvedges (fringe trim).
58 by 97 inches (4'10" by 8'1")
CONDITION: appears to be in excellent condition
PROVENANCE: gift of family in Iran
