Hi Denise, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. These horses have been perennially popular among tourists since the 19th Century and continue to this day. There are a good number of antique and vintage ones on the market but even larger ones - more than 24 inches (2 feet) tall - usually don't even bring as much as $150. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A group of two Indian painted wood "wedding" horses Rajasthani style, late 19th or early 20th Century Featuring a brown-painted male horse and a yellow-painted female horse Male horse: 12-1/2 inches high Female horse: 14 inches high CONDITION: both with some wear, the client represents the female (yellow) horse has more paint flaking and loss PROVENANCE: acquired at auction $50-75 each, or $100-150 for the group of two* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
