Dear Roger, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your second appraisal inquiry. The appraised work appears to be a still life by the Danish artist Orla Valdemar Borch (1891 - 1969). It is an oil on canvas signed on the lower right with the monograms ‘OVB’. It is framed, and it measures 68 (h) x 86 (w) cm. The condition appears to be very good overall. Once again, the estimation highlighted in red above is based on comparables offered and sold at auction in the last five years. The subject work’s size, composition, condition (based on photographs and comments provided), and the artists’ current auction market were considered when determining the estimate.
