There are areas that have spots of what look like foil or metal and the "scene" appears comprised of "blocks/squares" that form the picture.

Provenance

I purchased it in the 1980s, but have since lost the information on the artist.

Period: KATSUKAWA SHUNSHO II (SHUNSEN, 1762-CIRCA 1830) 1806-1820 
Edo period (1615-1868), 1806-1820
Provenance: Acquired in 1980.
Dimensions: Unknown
Artist: Katsukawa Shunso II (Shun-Izumi).
Condition: Good condition.
