Hi Ronald, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The 'E' on the bottom doesn't refer to a maker, rather it likely refers to the size. If you'd like for your appraisal to include dimensions, which is customary, please forward in the comments section - at your convenience - the overall height and diameter of the shade and I'll update this ASAP. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage late Victorian style slag glass, brass and bronze table lamp unattributed American maker, early 20th Century In an Assyrian revival style, the domed shade with variegated slag glass panels within a domed brass frame topped by enamel decorative elements, the lower rim featuring flanking Lamassu (human-faced winged lions); on a gilt bronze stand impressed E underneath. (DIMENSIONS) CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition; some oxidation to gilt bronze base. PROVENANCE: inherited $600-900* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary. Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
