Oak Cupboard Cabinet with applied wood carving

This is a beautiful vintage stepback or some other type of cupboard. It is 29.5 inches tall and 20 inches wide. It is 17.5 inches deep. The wood has a nice patina. It is solid and quite heavy. The brass hinges seem new, but the wood has an older patina. There is also a cornice or crest attached to the cupboard's top, and applied wood carved scrolls.
