Hello Trinity, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, porcelain quality and the colours, I concluded that this is a Japanese Noritake Porcelain Dinner Service for 12. The set is florally decorated with a popular pattern among Noritake porcelain, also known as Lucille 5813 pattern. The set appears to be a full service without tea service. The mark underneath this piece was registered and started to be used by 1953 in United States. Most of this patterns were actually designed in US head quarters of Noritake porcelain by US designers. Hence the US design pattern mark. The pieces are simply deorated and therefore suitable for a modern home at the time. Lucille patern was used alongside this mar throughout the 1970's therefore this piece likely dates back to the 1960-1970 period. The dinner service is composed of a total of 117 pieces which are: 16 dinner plates, 21 lunch plates, 21 bread plates, 2 medium bowls, 20 small bowls, 20 soup bowls, 5 saucers, 3 serving bowls, 16 inch platter, 3 14inch platters, 12 inch platter, 1 gravy boat, 1 sugar bowl, 1 creamer cup, 2 salt and pepper shakers.
