Hi Monique, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. This was not made by Noritake (though the marks are similar) but by the Fujiyama Co of Yokohama. I have not included the crystal in this appraisal because I need to know how many pieces and what it looks like (are there tumblers, goblets, etc?) Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage 70-piece Fujiyama hand-painted Yokohama parcel gilt part dinner service in a rose pattern, made in Japan, circa 1950s, comprising: 11 dinner plates 12 salad plates 10 dessert plates 11 bread and butter plates 8 soup bowls 13 saucers (how many cups?) 1 teapot 1 sugar bowl 1 large platter 1 medium platter 1 oval vegetable dish 1 covered vegetable dish 1 gravy boat CONDITION: PROVENANCE: inherited; original owner purchased in Japan $200-300 for the set* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary. Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
