Hello Wendy, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, porcelain quality and the colours, I concluded that this is a Japanese Noritake Porcelain Dinner and Tea Set. The piece dates back to the year 1947. The piece's pattern is entirely floral, the pattern wasn't named on the mark, a specific feature of the pre 1960 pieces from Noritake. The set is composed of a total 49 pieces including; 1 Serving platter, 1 Serving bowl with lid, 1 Teapot with lid, 1 Cream/gravy boat, 1 Small serving bowl with lid, 8 large plates, 8 small plates, 8 large bowls, 5 small bowls, 7 teacups and 8 tea saucers.
