Hello Jack, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, the mark and the colours, I concluded that this is a Japanese Noritake Porcelain Dinner Service with a Tea Set. Dating back to the period between 1947-1949. This mark underneath your pieces was used by the Noritake Porcelain for a very limited time period between 1947-1949. Your dinner service was decorated all by floral patterns, the borders were decorated also florally with golden and red floral patterns. Based on the tea set's pieces, this set was probably orginally for 12 people. Noritake almost didn't produce dinner services for 8 people at the time. The giltork of the pieces with handles and pieces with a lid is likely hand painted, the rest of the decoration is all printed. Centeral area of the pieces are left blank while the rest was painted in a pale yellow base colour. The piece is in good condition without any stated or visible faults. Printed on Porcelain. Pieces: Complete Dinner Service for 8 people. Condition: The piece is in good condition without any stated or visible faults. Provenance: Previously owned by the current owner's great grandmother. Decorated by Floral patterns. 300-400$ for a complete set without any missing pieces for 8 people.
