The bowl has a green ground color and a floral and gold decor. The hallmark is not clearly readable but reminds us of the German manufacturer Alboth and Kaiser. The mounting is a later addition and could be brass or ormolu. This color was called in Imperial Germany "Russian Green". This piece was made in the late 19th or early 20th century.
