Beautiful painting of tall mountains with a stunning blue sky in the background and a river surrounded by pine trees. Very well executed. The painting draws you in. Despite my efforts, I cannot make out the artist signature. I believe it is oil on canvas in it's original frame.

Hi Susan, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Like you, that signature has me puzzled, too. Do the first couple of letters look like "And---" to you? I'll try to run those through the artist auction databases we have access to see if I can find a likely match. Either way, this is a lovely painting and has a decorative value even if the artist can't be identified... Thanks to confirm. Delia
