Mother of pearl Altar cabinet

Received from in-laws. They had it in their possession for the last 9 years. Previous owners left the item after house purchase. My research suggest that it’s mother of pearl altar cabinet but cannot find any other information on it. Can’t find markings on it either.

Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage Chinese export mother-of-pearl inlaid elmwood or rosewood altar cabinet probably early 20th Century The rectangular cabinet fitted with two short drawers over two cabinet doors surmounted by rectangular top with raised wings supported by shaped returns. Profusely inlaid all over with foliate mother-of-pearl decoration. (height), 36 inches wide, 14 1/2 inches deep CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition with some wear visible to the bottom of the side.
