Modern iron sculpture
Sculpture is made of metal. I believe it has been fired with a glaze bc it is too smooth and glossy to be just paint. U can actually see where it has been welded together. Colors are very vivid with a glossy finish. Piece is extremely heavy. The retro colors remind me of the 60s. The measurements 18”w x 14.5”h x 4”d the base measures 4” x 12”
My grandmother is no longer with us, but my mother told me she purchased the sculpture from a friend years ago, Possibly 70s or 80s.

The presented object appears to be a cold-painted steel or iron sculpture with the measurements 18”w x 14.5”h x 4”d the base measures 4” x 12”. This artwork depicts two standing men in the style of the art of Keith Haring. This motif of two men is titled "Best Buddies" and was used for prints and sculptures. Keith Haring donated this logo design to Best Buddies, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This artwork is not signed or has an edition or a comparable remark with that usually originals by Keith Haring are marked.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no severe damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation for an authentic sculpture would be between 5.000 to 10.000 USD.

I am so sorry!! I totally forgot to follow up with u. Thx u for being patient. This piece belonged to my grandmother and I inherited it bc basically no one else wanted it. Lol…I love it! My grandmother was an eccentric lady. She lived in Floyd Wright MCM style home if that gives you any insight to her personality. She was a lover of art. My mother unfortunately, had a light stroke years ago and she frequently gets her memories intertwined. My aunt said my grandmother did not purchase the piece in the 60s, or even 70s for that matter. My aunt said she it’s not 100% sure, but she thinks she came into possession of it much later 1995-2000. Honestly, we are not sure. I looked online and saw some similar, well almost identical, but the one online had a signature on the bottom, mine does not, however, it has gone through hurricane where everything was lost in our home due to water. I can’t tell you I recall one ever being on it. I probably would not even have inquired about it if it wasn’t for us doing inventory for the storm.
