Dear Cindy, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The presented object appears to be a Masonic Knight Templar sword made by Molilley & Co and comes with the scabbard. This piece was made out of steel, an artificial mass for the hilt, and wood. Such ceremonial swords were used as signs of membership in Masonic orders, indicating the member's rank, and are nowadays still often on the market, especially in The United States. This piece was probably made in the late 19th century. This piece is in medium condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 80 to 160 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, George
