Dear customer, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal. The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil on copper with the measurements of 22 x 17 inches. The painting depicts Maria Magdalena praying in front of a cross and a skull. This shows Maria Magdalena in the iconography as "Penitent Maria Magdalena" dressed in simple clothes and living in a cave. This painting was made in the first half of the 17th century by an unknown religious painter. There is no connection in style, motif, and used materials to Leonardo Da Vinci. Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 1.500 to 3.000USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, George
