Hamadan pieces are known as a type of Persian Tribal rugs, famous for their durable nature. Hamadan pieces has some characteristic patterns that it shares with couple of other Persia pieces. The rotated square like shapes decorated with flowers and constrcuted between other floral motifs are called "Herati" Pattern. "Herati" pattern is a characteristic addition to floral decorations in Persian Tribal rugs to enhance the decoration.
