The bronze depicts a woman and is titled on the base with "Premier Chagrin" which means "First Sorrow". This piece was made and signed by the artist Luca MADRASSI (1848-1919). Works by this artist and bronzes from the same series were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 300 to 500 USD.
