Hello Ramiro, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, materials and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Made Ancient Pre-Columbian "Tumbaga" of the Tairona Culture. This piece likely dates back to the period between 400-1000 AD. The authenticity should be tested with physical methods and is not guaranteed. Nowaday's Santa Marta was a center of the Tairona people. This piece was made of a copper and gold alloy. The piece was made with "Traditional Lost Casting" method. The piece depicts a god motif with two earrings, also as holding two likely ceremonial objects in his hands. The piece also has a crown constructed on circular patterns of the culture and the crown is shaped of pointy miniature metal bodies in descending from the middle order. The piece appears to be in good condition with obivous signes of age. The authenticity of the piece needs to be further investigated in person. We can only assume it’s originality and provide a price based on it. Entirely hand made and Gold-Copper Alloy.
