Based on the images and available information this item is: A helmet-mask consisting of a spherical cap on which are several friezes of decorations in relief representing cowries, small horns and talismans. From the top of this helmet rises a disproportionately long neck punctuated by bulges of fat - symbols of ease - on which rests a head with a beautiful oval face surmounted by a delicately braided headdress. The whole is covered with a thick black patina. Good condition Retail prices may vary
