Late nineteenth century early twentieth century stunning floral base lamp made in France

In my family for years. Excellent condition. Original electric cord (lamp works) I just discovered a signature under a magnifying glass and took picture. The signature is difficult to interpret perhaps an expert can tell. It appears French as the lamp comes from France. Iy is a stunning painted floral base that when lit lights up red inside. It appears Silver/Bronze trim.
