The piece dates back to the period from 1960-1970. Pitman Dreitzer is a famous producer of glass and occasionally porcelain. The company also produced brass pieces such as in this composition to enhance the decorative value of it's items. The piece's brass base is in Rococo style of the 18th century. Upper glass body of the piece is very simple without ny visible decoration, it is a clear owal glass bowl. Normally these were sold as sets which would include punch glasses and a glass ladle. The piece is very decorative but there is no hand work or hand decoration on the piece. The work on this piece is in average quality. The piece is in good condition without visible problems.
