Hi Jennifer, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Most late 20th/early 21st Century Murano sculpture and art glass is too recent to have a large body of auction records, which are what Mearto bases our appraisals on. Additionally, I suspect that if you bought this in a gallery/from a dealer, you will have paid a retail price, whereas the values Mearto provides are fair-market, for auction (secondary market), which are usually 2-3 times less than retail prices. A similar Love Knot, of slightly larger size, sold for just $500 at an auction in 2015. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: Luigi Moro (Italian, 20th/21st Century) Love Knot twisted glass, in an abstract form, on a circular plinth base, signed to the bottom. 14 1/2 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches wide CONDITION: appears to be in good condition; value assumes no breaks, repairs or losses. PROVENANCE: acquired from a gallery or dealer $400-600* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary. Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
