Hello Marc, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal. Considering the photographs, overall pattern, knot density and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Knotted Indian Agra Rug. The piece dates back to the period between 1980-2000. Agra Rugs are known for their floral decorations and with their earthy colours. Agra pieces are highly affected from Persian Rug weaving techniques and the decorational style of the Persian Rugs. This piece was not centrally decorated therefore it lacks a central medallion. The central area was instead decorated with duplicated floral patterns. Borders of the piece are also decorated florally. 2000-2600$. Retail prices may vary.
