The plain white enamel dial would have been mass produced and acquired by the clockmaker; this was probably made in America or England based on the spelling of "Regulator" Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A Victorian style walnut 8-day regulator wall clock un-attributed maker, American or English, late 19th/early 20th Century The circular relief-carved hood enclosing a white enamel dial with Trademark S and Roman numeral chapter rings, the relief carved case with turned colonnets flanking an eglomise painted "REGULATOR' / 'A' on the door, opening to reveal a brass pendulum, with a pierced base. 48 inches long, 21 inches wide CONDITION: appears to be in good condition; client reports this to be in good condition, chimes on the hour and needs to be wound weekly.
