Thank you for contacting Mearto. This is a collage/painting by the Mainland Chinese artist Lao Dao. In the late 90s and early 2000s, Beijing was a center for the arts. China was experiencing an economic boom and the new purchasing power created a market for modern Chinese art. Many artists dealt with the effects of the Cultural Revolution and often used the portrait of Mao as a reference. Lao Dao 老道 (in English, means ‘old way’) aka Li Zongjun seems to have dropped off the map after the early 2000s. His work seems to span collages like yours and more traditional oil paintings (see link below). Based on past sales of his work, the Fair Market Value of this painting is between $1200 and $1700. You may want to try listing it on a Chinese auction site, such as Beijing Poly. more of his work https://www.wanfung.com.cn/eng/tjysj_yh_show.asp?id=230 More press about Lao Dao http://www.china.org.cn/english/features/museums/125717.htm
