The appraised work is a 1986 color lithograph poster hand-signed and dated by Keith Haring (1958-1990). The poster was designed by Haring and printed by Original Impressions, Inc. Miami in an unknown edition size. The poster was printed in relation to Haring’s iconic banner created for the CityKids Foundation in Manhattan, which commemorated the centennial anniversary of the Statue of Liberty’s arrival in the United States. The estimate provided is based on comparables recently sold at auction. In many cases, pricing for similar examples available on the primary (retail) market vary, and are often higher than secondary (auction) market examples.
