Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry, and I apologize for the delay. This is a World War Two era Gustloff-Werke K.K. Wehrsportgewehr rifle. K.K. stands for "Kleinkaliber," meaning small bore, and "Wehrsportgewehr," means military training rifle. These .22 caliber rifles were used to train German soldiers on the larger caliber K98s without using the more expensive ammo. This particular piece is in good condition, although it has some modifications that impact its value. The sling cutout and bolt-disassembly ring in the stock have been filled, and the stock has been shortened, with the front-most portion missing. It is also missing the top hand guard. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 600-650 dollars. Please reach out with any questions. Bo Stuck
