Hello Paula: Thank you for sending your watch to mearto for an appraisal and I understand it was a gift on your wedding day in 1965. TITLE: Ladies gold plate and stainless steel, manually wound, Presentation, wristwatch with gold plated mesh bracelet t with a Juvenia clasp, made by Juvenia , Switzerland, circa 1965 DESCRIPTION: Case: 25mm diameter, round polished gold plate and stainless steel having a canted bezel and gilt fluted winding crown with a stainless steel back cover marked for the date of your marriage, ‘10/21/1965’. The watch is well integrated with a diagonal gilt mesh gold plated bracelet with Juvenia marked clasp. ////// Dial: Textured gold dial with applied gilt and black baton hour indices, gilt baton hands and the dial marked, 'Juvenia' above and 'Swiss Made' below.//////////// Movement: Not shown but was likely supplied to Juvenia by the ETA Swiss watch company who made ebauche (basic) calibre watch movements for the Swiss trade. This is probably a variant of the Juvenia 765 with 17 jewels, manually wound and made in the 1960s (derived from the ETA 2510). /// Condition: The watch appears to be in very good condition with the expected wear on the bezel and the case while the bracelet is in very good and signed condition.////////// Historical: Juvenia is a luxury Swiss watch manufacturer located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It is one of the few Swiss watch companies to have manufactured watches without interruption since its creation in 1860. In the 1880s, Juvenia produced one of the first ladies wristwatches. In 1914, Juvenia manufactured, at the time, the smallest movement constructed on a single level. Of Note: This fair market estimate was based on recent auction sales of comparable watches. Retail prices are, of course, higher and vary greatly. See: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/58220661_juvenia-dress-wristwatch Best wishes, David
