Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a painting by Joseph John Reboli (1945-2004), depicting a white chair, blue table, bear bottle and part of a thatched awning at a sandy beach. The estimate is based on few auction results of paintings sold at well advertised auctions. The price you paid was surprisingly low, congratulations!

Hi Klaus - Thank you for getting back to me with this appraisal. Great news! I am interested in selling through Invaluable. Is there an easy way to take that next step here?

Klaus Jun 27, 20:52 UTC

We cooperate with a number of larger auction houses. Those usually accept paintings of a value of more than 3500 USD. The painting in your possession is lovely but most likely below the threshold form them to process it. I would try an auction house in your area or leave it listed on this site.

Okay, that makes sense. But I guess I'm not sure how it works to leave the painting listed on this site. Who will see it and have the chance to purchase? The general public? I see that it's listed as a private item.

Klaus Jun 28, 16:35 UTC

sorry, I didn´t notice it is listed as private. So no one will see it. Public listing get offers as I have noticed.

Oh, okay. Can it be changed to public? I'm not seeing a way to do this on my end.

I´ll ask support

Thank you! And if I have other questions on selling after this I can reach out to them as well.. I'm realizing these sorts of questions may need to be directed elsewhere. Appreciate your help in the meantime.
