The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with unknown measurements. The painting depicts a group of four men in costumes of the 17th-century surveying silverware. The painting is signed with the name "Sicatta". This painting was probably made in Italy in the 20th century. It could be also made in Asia and Sicatta is a nom de plume. Especially in China paintings were copied in the second half of the 20th in a big variety of quality. Sadly no additional information for an artist with this name fitting in style and motif is given by reference books and databases. Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market. This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 250 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
