Hello Denise, I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal, Considering the photographs, overall pattern, mark and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Painted Japanese Imari Porcelain, dating back to the period between 1930-1950. Based on the mark and the impressed mark underneath the piece, we can say that this piece was an export piece. Probably produced for the US market and is not a traditional quality Imari. These piece usually had lower quality aimed to profit from US market. We can see a central medallion on the piece and six different florally decorated panels on the border. The precision of the artist was not very high and the colours are unstable. It is of average overall quality. The piece is in good condition without any visible faults. Entirely hand painted. Dimensions: 16 Inches of Diameter Condition: The piece is in good condition without any visible faults. Provenance: Inherited from the current owner's grandparents. 40-60$.
