The statue is 10" high and the base 2" at it's widest point.. There is a crack that runs from the base about half way up the statue.

Dear Robert, You have Chinese carved statue of a monk with a flute. I cannot see specifics to give more details about the figure. Its made of elephant ivory and its made in republic period China say 1920 / 1930. Its well carved with a good expression. Be aware in selling ivory on the market if you would like to sell. Best way is using a professional auction house; they know how to deal with SITES issues and possible export to other countries.
