Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage Chinese Art Deco Gubelin jade and onyx desk clock 8-day mechanism, made in Lucerne, Switzerland, circa 1930s The rectangular green enamel dial with stepped cornice and diamond patterning, Arabic numeral chapter rings, flanked by carved jade seated phoenix or ho-ho birds, on a stepped onyx base. The back of the dial marked "Swiss 21515 / Gubelin / Lucerne / 8 Jours" (height), 8-1/2 inches long, 2 inches deep CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition excepting a crack to the glass front of the clock.
