Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage Herschede musical chiming burl walnut grandfather clock mid-late 20th Century The arched bonnet over a tomb-stone topped door enclosing an engraved steel and brass dial with moon-phase dial, Arabic chapter rings. The case with chimes, pendulum and weights, all on a box base with applied panels, on ogee bracket feet. Back impressed "230", "133" and "6123." Plays Westminster, Wittington and Canterbury tunes. CONDITION: appears to be in good condition commensurate to age and wear. PROVENANCE: inherited $600-900* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
