Hi Benjamin, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Yes, that "flaw" on the underside of the dog's belly is the pontil mark, made when the glass-blower detached the figure from the blow-pipe. Not a condition issue at all, happily. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage hand-blown blue and clear studio glass standing poodle unattributed maker, mid 20th Century The figure standing on all four legs, with ribbed tufted head and tail puffs, ribbed ears and legs; pontil mark underneath belly; apparently unmarked 9 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide CONDITION: appears to be in good condition PROVENANCE: gift from mother $50-75* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
