Mid-Twentieth Century Georg Jensen black leather arm chair. The black vulcanized thick rubber seat supports have deteriorated from age, as well as the foam insert in the leather cushion seat. A skilled upholstery shop in Chicago replaced the rubber seat supports with a synthetic set of replacement bands as shown (I still have the original rubber cleat seat supports to keep the collection complete). Original yellow Georg Jensen NY NY shop seat paper tag is still intact. Chair measures: 28”w x 29”d x 28-1/2”h at the back. 16” seat height.
