It’s a painting on canvas stretched on wood I think it’s an oil painting. It’s 20”x16” without the frame and 17 3/4 x 21 3/4” with the frame. It’s a couple mountain peaks overlooking a lake with fall colored trees on the sides. It does have some cracks on the upper right side. It’s signed G. Whitman but the G almost looks like a lowercase f maybe because the paint bled together.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a chinese production line painting from the "painting village" Dafen in southern China. Painting reproductions have a long tradition in China, but this type is typical for the late 1980s and later. You can order a near identical painting rolled up without frame for less than 10 USD today including shipping. The artist "T.whitman" does not exist, it is a pseudonym used by hundreds of factory workers ( Spelling errors are common). Similar is also produced in Mexico. Such paintings were sold in department stores, homeshopping TV etc. The estimate is based on similar paintings actually sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
