The title appears to read "The Gentle and Magnificent Art of Distillery in 1500" and signed in plate reading "© G.R. Parvis." The intaglio print also appears to be signed in pencil "G.R. Parvis '78" to the lower right. While the print appears to date to the 20th century, the scene depicts an folk art scene of a medieval genre scene. Unfortunately, the name "G.R. Parvis" did not appears in a few listed artist database searches. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of other comparable folk style intaglio prints by unlisted or unattributed artists, dating to the second half of the 20th century.
