I have pictures...this was passed on from my father who got it from my grandfather. It is a complete set in I believe to be very good condition. Along with locomotive and caboose there are 5 cars. Dump car with wooden barrels, tree log car with trunks, spot light car, crane car and passenger car. It has a full set of tracks along with switching parts and a part that lets you dump the barrels. It even has the original boxes for the cars. The only thing that doesn't appear in excellent condition is some of the wiring that goes from the transformer to the tracks.

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be what you suggested, a mid 20th century Lionel train set in slightly used condition. The estimate is based on similar lots sold in well advertised auctions. If offered piece by piece the result would be higher. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the items.
