Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: An antique Louis XV style gilt bronze (ormolu) and marble three-piece mantel garniture (figural mantel clock and pair of seven-light candelabra) clock made by Henri Dautreme, Paris, Active 1850-1890, probably third quarter 19th Century Candelabra of unknown maker The gilt bronze clock featuring a Classically draped figure reclining against the dial housing and a globe , a white enamel dial with Roman numeral chapter rings and is signed DAUTREME A PARIS / RUE NUE DES PETITS CHAMPS 74;" the base fitted with a variegated white marble block, all on compressed circular feet. Clock: 22 inches tall, 28 inches wide. 28" wide 22" tall weight about 80lbs. Candelabra: approximately 36 inches high CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition PROVENANCE: inherited $ 4,000-6,000* TOGETHER WITH An antique Napoleon III gilt metal and marble mantel clock (maker's name illegible) made in France, mid 19th Century Surmounted by a two-handled urn on a stepped cornice, the case of reddish/black marble (onyx?) encased in an ormolu (gilt metal) frame housing circular white painted enamel dial with Arabic chapter rings, on a marble and gilt metal stylized foliate base with outset rear feet. 20 inches tall; 14 inches wide, 7 inches deep CONDITION: appears to be in generally good condition PROVENANCE: inherited $ 1,000-1,500* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
