Flintlock Pistol circa 18th Century

Large calibre Flintlock Pistol. w/abalone (?) inlay and brass(?) scrolling Hand carved wood stock shows some damage on right side. Trigger, hammer, frizzen, frizzen spring and pan all intact and functional. Hammer cocks, locks and drops when trigger is activated. Trigger and trigger guard showing considerable usage. Hand made screws and hand carved brass(?) inlay plate on left side. Patina has not been disturbed. No obvious alterations or modifications.
