Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A set of six American turned wood side chairs made by S. Bent & Brothers, Gardner, Mass, mid/late 19th Century Each with bentwood back enclosing five turned spindles, over a shaped molded seat, raised on straight turned legs joined by a double box stretcher and reinforced by a metal X-stretcher. (DIMENSIONS) CONDITION: Not examined in person but appears to be in good condition; value assumes condition of all chairs are similar to one shown in the photographs. $500-700 for the set* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
