Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with MeArto. The item presented appears to be an engraving after a work by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris (Pennsylvania, 1863 - 1930) titled "Christmas Eve in Colonial Days." The print was engraved by James King (New York, 1852 - 1925) and is dated to the late 1800s. Ferris is a listed English genre painter who studied under William Adolphe Bouguereau at the Julian Academy in Paris. King studies at New York's Art Student's League and was a known engraver and etcher.

The estimate provided is based on auction estimates and results of this print and other turn-of-the-century engravings by James King. Happy New Year.
