Edward Fields is a world famous luxurios carpet maker. They do produce hand made pieces since 1940's. Pieces of the brand are present in many important places, even in White House in Washington DC. They do design and hand made contemporary rugs, this is one of the very few bussinesses in rug market. Since the hand-made rugs in the market are dominantly Oriental, these pieces are seen as rare. Your piece is entirely made of wool, both the pile and the warp is known to be wool. It has a semi-circular design almost resembling an architectural plan. This sort of design was very famous starting from the mid-century till the start of the 21st century. Design type is labeled as "Pendulum". Six different colours were used in the pattern, general tones of colours are pale except the neon blue. The back of the piece resembles the traditional backside pattern of the Edward Fields pieces.
