Dear Daniel, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the huge delay with the appraisal. The presented object appears to be a so-called smallsword with unknown measurements. It has the features of an iron handle with probably silver or white metal inlay work with scroll decoration. The steel blade is etched with a decor. The blade names the workshop of Eusebio Zuloaga in Toledo who produced in the 19th century mainly guns but also swords and daggers in historic style. Such smallswords were made in the last third of the 18th century. This piece is in medium condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided. A fair market estimation would be between 150 to 400 USD. This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary. With kind regards, George
