Dolls Germany 1945

I’m not sure about materials. I know the heads are made of some sort of harder material it the body is made Of cloth. All I know is these two dolls have been handed from generation to generation, having belonged to an aunt who served WWII in the OSS. She arrived in 1942 in Munich, and upon her return in 1945 the only belonging she brought back to the US were the clothes in her body and these 2 dolls.I know nothing about them other than the story that has been passed on to me.
