Hi Carol, Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. The facial features of this figure look quite feminine to me but the attire is clearly masculine; I wonder if this isn't some literary character. Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is: A vintage Majolica glazed and parcel gilt standing figure French or Italian, 20th Century The figure with long curly hair, holding a hat with trailing plume, dressed in breeches and a loose-fitting lawn shirt with bodice, gauntlets and breeches, standing on a naturalistically rendered base. Underside of base impressed "2670" but otherwise marked indistinctly. 6 inches high CONDITION: This figure appears to be in good condition; value assumes no chips, breaks, repairs or losses. PROVENANCE: inherited $ 50-75* *represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary. Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto. ~ Delia
